## What is RERA?
RERA (Real Estate Regulation and Development Act, 2016) is a central government law that mandates registration and regulation of real estate projects in India.
In Rajasthan, RERA is implemented by RERAS (Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Rajasthan) at reras.rajasthan.gov.in.
When is RERA Registration Mandatory in Jaipur?
RERA registration is mandatory for: - Residential projects with 8 or more units/plots - Projects with land area exceeding 500 square meters - Commercial projects above a certain threshold
Single plots or projects with fewer than 8 plots may not require RERA registration but should still have clear JDA approval.
